This is the how to fish thunderstore mods list: 150 packages published to the How to Fish community on Thunderstore, pulled from the Thunderstore API and checked on 2 September 2026. Every package is listed by total downloads inside its category group, with the author, current version, last update date and a one-line description. The only things left out are cheat-style packages, which this wiki does not cover, and the tail of long descriptions, truncated to keep the table readable.

How this list is built
Each row comes straight from the package's own Thunderstore listing: the name links to its Thunderstore page, and the version, download count and update date are the values Thunderstore reported on 2 September 2026. Download counts move every day, so treat the ordering as a snapshot rather than a permanent ranking.
A few things worth knowing before you read the table:
- One row per package. Thunderstore lets an author tag a package with several categories at once (NoSharedMoney is tagged both Mods and Tools, for example), but each package appears exactly once below, under one group.
- Descriptions are truncated. The text in the last column is the start of the author's own short description. Open the Thunderstore page for the full README, the dependency string and the changelog.
- Similar names are not duplicates. Several packages do near-identical jobs under near-identical names, and Thunderstore also lets two authors publish the same idea separately. Always check the author column before you install, because there are three separate ammo counters here from three different authors.
- BepInExPack and GaleModManager are not How to Fish mods. BepInEx is the Mono Unity mod loader nearly every mod here depends on, and Gale is a Thunderstore mod manager. Both are cross-game packages mirrored into this community, which is why their download totals (33 million and 515,884) dwarf everything else on the page. - Cheat-style packages are left out. Aimbot, cheat menu, god mode, admin and world-ESP packages exist on Thunderstore (11 as of 2 September 2026). This wiki does not list or document them; the counts on this page exclude them.

The oldest package here is BepInExPack (last updated 17 March 2026, because it predates the game). Everything How to Fish specific was published or updated between 21 August 2026, the day after release on 20 August 2026, and 2 September 2026, so the whole scene is under two weeks old. Expect versions in this table to age quickly, especially after a game patch: patch 1.0.11 landed on 1 September 2026 and mods that touch save files, the roulette table or attachments are the ones most likely to need an update. Notable groups inside the Mods table
A few clusters are easy to miss when you read 142 rows in a row:
- Multiplayer capacity: MorePlayers (up to 32 players, per its own description) and BiggerLobbies both raise the lobby player cap. See multiplayer mods.
- Custom maps: CustomIslandsLoader, HTFMapLoader, BetterIslands, The_Island_Project, RivalIsles and the CustomIslands_MapmakerKit under Tools. See custom islands mods.
- Shared dependencies: HowtoFishLocalizationAPI, HowtoFishIdentityAPI, MoreFishAPI, NativeStatusUI, HTF_MoreItemAPI and HTF_MoreHead exist so other mods can build on them. You usually install these because a mod manager pulled them in, not on their own.
- Modpacks: Enhanced_HowToFish lists twenty other How to Fish packages as dependencies, plus the BepInEx loader, so its listed downloads are separate from the downloads of the mods inside it.
How to report a missing or wrong mod
This table is a snapshot, so two things go stale: a new package published after 2 September 2026 will be missing, and version or download numbers will drift. If you spot either:
- Check the package on Thunderstore first. The community page at thunderstore.io/c/how-to-fish/ is always the live source, and the mod page itself shows the real current version.
- Note the exact package name and author, since similar names repeat across different authors in this table.
- Send the Thunderstore link through the contact route on this site. Corrections that include the link are the ones that get in fastest.
Deprecated packages, packages the author deletes and packages that break after a game patch all stay in the table until the next refresh, so an entry appearing here is not a promise that it still works on the current build.
Sources and last check
Every row in the tables above comes from the Thunderstore API for the How to Fish community, read on 2 September 2026: package name, author, version, download count, last update date and the author's own short description. Package links point at thunderstore.io. The release date of 20 August 2026 and patch 1.0.11 of 1 September 2026 come from the developer's official Steam announcements, checked the same day. Nothing on this page is player-reported: it is all package metadata. What each mod actually does in game, and whether it still works after the latest patch, is the author's claim in their own description, not something this wiki has tested.
